it is an establishment, at the same time bar, pmu, tobacconist (with cigar cellar) and restaurant located very close to the town hall of Raincy, le Fontenoy; at the corner of avenue de la Résistance and avenue Thiers. An ordinary interior with probably a little more than twenty tables. We went there twice with my wife, last week and today, January 30, 2024. This second time with a friend, just to check if our first impression was the right one. As with all these rooms of the same type, at peak times, it is quite noisy but still very bearable. The notable comes from several factors: The service is fast and the staff very friendly. the menu, the slate rather, is short but with five starters, main courses and desserts, so enough to feel comfortable. Everything is homemade and if the cuisine doesn't reach new heights, everything we ate was fresh, tasty, well prepared, well presented and... hot when needed. The prices are most acceptable considering all this: today, two main course and dessert formulas for 34 euros, a steak for 22 euros, a glass of Brouilly and a café crème, all for 63.60 euros. Don't hesitate, this establishment is worth the detour.
