We called in here for a drink recently, while visiting Inverness. I initially decided to try this pub because it has free on street parking, but it is a real worthy find. The Innes bar is a great, traditional pub, near the centre of Inverness. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, as are the staff and locals. This is clearly a popular place, as it started to fill up not long after we arrived. As well as a good choice of beer, I noticed a decent selection of malt whisky, though on this occasion, I didn't try any. We didn't try the food, but the menu offered very good choices, all reasonably priced. We planned to call back but couldn't, due to prevailing circumstances. I have, however, added The Innes to my personal "Good Pubs" list, and we would recommend it to anyone. If you're in Inverness, call in.
