My wife and I go to Insomnia Cookies almost every time we go to DeKalb, IL. We decided to stop there this past Monday to take advantage of a app-only special. I told them I wanted ALL 16 cookies to be peanut butter. I also asked for them to be wrapped because my wife is going for major surgery next week, and I wanted to freeze them so she'd have one of her favorite snacks over the coming weeks as she recovers. We didn't open the box of cookies until tonight, and we saw something that made our jaws drop. The two workers gave us a little plushie keychain with a note wishing her a smooth recovery. Hilariously they also included labels on the cookies that say "Sorry your day sucked." Welp, the day we bought them, I'd had an INCREDIBLY sucky day! It's like they knew! I love your cookies, and your staff. Thank you so much for taking the time to do something so special for us

The cookies here are so tasty. I like thst they have gluten free options. Price is great and the staff are always really wonderful. I also love that they are open late so I can get my late night sweet treats.

I like Insomnia Cookies. When it comes to my sweet tooth I'm a simple gal so my favorite is the vegan chocolate chunk. The vegan chocolate chunk tastes just as good as the classic chocolate chunk which is impressive to me. The staff does their job, however most of the employees haven't greeted me when I walked in. I don't think it's too much to ask to be given a warm greeting when you're purchasing from a business. Also, I don't like the fact that they only take cash if it's the exact amount. So the lack of greetings and not taking cash unless it's the exact amount is why I gave four stars instead of five. Overall a nice place though.
