Scheduling your trip, pay attention to Mirror Lake and remember to choose where to eat: this restaurant is right aside the mentioned attraction. You can try nicely cooked kare-kare, crab cakes and lamb. Most guests recommend trying good bread pudding, crème brûlée and biscuits. It's nice to order delicious wine.

Max, the bartender, and his family that owns the place are all fantastic. The most welcoming environment, and a great NA bottle of champagne made the night great catching up with old friends. The southern flair is a great addition to Lake Placid dining. It’s nice to see a staple such as The Interlaken continuing its legacy in this small lake town. Perfect for a date night. I was locations scouting for a film in Lake Placid, and the Interlaken Inn & Restaurant is my FAVORITE place in Lake Placid. The staff (Casey, Max, Amber, Heather) is WONDERFUL. We ate dinner there both nights before going to bed. The food was awesome and the drinks were great. Max is the best bartender ever. I love the cozy feel of the whole place. The rooms were phenomenal. I stayed in room 9, which has its own balcony and a great view. I can't recommend it enough. Stay here!!!!! Eat here!!! Visit!! You will NOT be disappointed!!! Rooms: So comfy!!!!! Walkability: No sidewalks, but near everything. Food & drinks: Wonderful! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Romantic, Quiet
