My 4th time coming to this restaurant, and the food is always amazing. However, the price menu is always down, and there's no paper menu nor any updates on a board. In addition to this, the price increased with no memo of the updates online or in-person. The currant pastry was considerably smaller than usual and it too increased. An update should be visible for patrons to know the changes, as we deserve courtesy in our community as any other. Be mindful of customers no matter what. A Sunday Must-Visit for Authentic Caribbean Comfort If you are looking for a real home-cooked Caribbean meal on the East Side, International Roti House on Covington Highway is the place to be. Living up north in the Alpharetta area, my "fast food" is usually Caribbean, and this spot did not disappoint. It’s easily some of the best food I’ve had in a long time. The Food: Authentic & Hearty We tried a bit of everything, and the flavors were spot on: The Oxtails: Tender, seasoned perfectly, and exactly what you want from a soul-warming meal. Curry & Stew Chicken: My husband had the large chicken and the stew chicken; both were flavorful and cooked with that authentic "home-style" touch. The Lo Mein: I gave the Lo Mein a try as well—it was a decent addition to the meal. Surprising Value In a time where eating out can break the bank, the value here is incredible. Feeding two people—including large portions of oxtails and chicken—and coming out around $60 is almost unheard of for this quality of food. Service with a Smile What truly set this experience apart was the service. Sometimes Caribbean spots get a reputation for being a bit blunt, but the staff here were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Seeing a smile behind the counter makes the food taste that much better. Final Verdict: Whether you're a local or making the drive from the North side, International Roti House is a Sunday winner.
