You can come to this restaurant after visiting Jugendstilsenteret and Kunstmuseet Kube. At this place you can try the Norwegian cuisine. The best specialty coffee in Alesund. Thoughtfully prepared by friendly staff. Nice cakes and a great location too.

I came here for lunch following a tip in my Lonely Planet guidebook, and after seeing that all of the salads and sandwiches on the menu contain dairy, I explained my lactose intolerance to the staff and asked if any of the sandwiches could be made without cheese. They told me that they could take the tomato mozzarrella bruschetta, swap out the cheese for prosciutto, and omit the pesto sauce. I appreciated their flexibility a lot. My sandwich was great. The bread was nice and chewy, the olive oil dressing worked well, and there were generous slices of ham and tomato, as well as decorative edible flowers. I would have given this place five stars if not for the large pieces of plastic wrapping that I found in my bruschetta open face sandwich. When I told the staff, however, they handled it very well. They apologized and offered to make me a new sandwich. I said that I was already full, so they offered cake or coffee. I said I'd have a non dairy milk latte, and she made me two, one for me and one for my boyfriend who was with me. The lattes were frothy and delicious.
