10/10 dinner for my first night in Kyoto. Such a cosy restaurant where you can eat and smoke inside. They were so accommodating and gave us a nice parting gift as tourists. We went out for a late night dinner last night. We were greeted with a smile, and the other person in there even moved over so our group could sit together. They gave us the time to figure out and translate what we would like and were patient with us. The food was incredible, and so was the service and the owners. Thank you for this great night! This is a wonderful place. The Miyazaki charcoal chicken is unbelievably good! It is clearly made with love from a native of Miyazaki prefecture. Get it, with a couple pints, and chew your way to bliss. The eggplant and tofu are also excellent. If you are staying in the area, please do not miss it!
