As fresh arrivals to Japan and newbies to Ramen we stepped out of the comfort zone to join the queue. Polite, friendly and helpful staff took our order before our table was free, less than 5 minutes after arrival on a busy day. The meals arrived quickly and immediately impressed. Fresh, tasty and filling. The one downside was the salt and heavy flavour, ideal I’m sure for Ramen fans, but a bit rich for our taste. Enjoy the Goya, kimchi and other sides. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

When I arrived at the restaurant, there was already a line wrapping around the building just to get inside. Despite the crowd, the wait was only about 25 minutes, which felt very reasonable given how popular the place was. The ramen was absolutely worth the wait. The broth was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, while the noodles tasted fresh and had a great texture. One thing I appreciated was the ability to customize your meal, with four different noodle options to choose from. They also offer three spice levels—mild, medium, and extra spicy. I ordered the medium-spicy ramen with pork belly, and it was outstanding. The pork belly was tender and flavorful, and the spice level added just the right amount of heat without overwhelming the broth. Every component of the bowl worked together beautifully. The only disappointment was the gyoza, which tasted soggy, and microwaved Meal type: Lunch Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

We walked around Ikspiari to find the Ippudo Ramen (second floor). We stood in line for ~30 minutes. The food came out super-fast because we ordered while waiting in line, and it was ready within 2 minutes of sitting down when seats became available. We each got a ramen, we got a beer, and we shared an order of gyoza for ¥3400 (~$23). It was delicious, and the ramen was a huge portion. This was a good recommendation for ramen!
