This is an authentic Japanese okonomiaki place in the heart of Kishi. There is an English menu but the owners don’t speak much English so you may need some finger pointing to order, but the food is amazing. The locals we met were extremely friendly and the place has a “back in time” feel to it. We ordered yakisoba and mixed okonomiaki and it was fantastic. Very reasonably priced. Wished we had more time in Japan as I’d definitely go back. Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We went to see the Tama cat! I tried a delicious okonomiyaki and onigiri, paired with a barrel beer. The place feels cozy and quiet, and the service was very nice. You can even watch them cook while sitting on the tatami mats. I really recommend it with you visit Tama ! I only have the Onigiri photo! I couldn't resist to eat the Okonomiyaki right away Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Iroha is an okonomiyaki restaurant that I've been going to for decades. Not only is the okonomiyaki delicious, but the owner's personality is the best, and it continues to be loved by locals. There is ``Nishihonyaki'' on the secret menu, so why not order it?
