Nestled on Saganakadori-Cho in Kyoto, Isaribi offers an inviting spot for dinner with a focus on authentic Japanese cuisine. Its moderate price range makes it an accessible choice for those looking to enjoy traditional Japanese flavors without breaking the bank. However, potential visitors should be aware that very few details about dishes or the interior ambiance are available, as there have been no reviews left by diners yet.

Isaribi operates on a specified schedule, welcoming guests from 5:00 PM until midnight most nights of the week, with a slightly earlier closing time of 11:00 PM on Sundays. The restaurant remains closed on Tuesdays, but no additional insights into special events or offers are provided by the establishment. Unfortunately, no recent updates directly from the owner are available to inform about possible changes or specific dining experiences.

Overall, Isaribi presents itself as a straightforward destination for those interested in Japanese dinner options in Kyoto. While information remains limited, this may appeal to those who enjoy discovering new places without preconceived notions or expectations.

After visiting the bamboo forest, we wandered away from the crowds and found Jizake—a cozy, family-run izakaya in Kyoto that completely blew us away. This place is owned and operated by a warm mother-and-son duo who make you feel more like a guest in their home than a customer. The meal felt like a personalized journey through flavor. Each small plate—served tapas-style—was perfectly crafted, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. From the first bite to the last, every dish was balanced, thoughtful, and full of depth. Not a single miss. The space is intimate, calm, and welcoming, and the hospitality made the whole experience feel incredibly personal and meaningful. It was the kind of dinner that stays with you long after the trip is over. Truly the best meal I’ve had in Japan. If you’re in Kyoto, do not miss this gem. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
