After visiting Pen Station Museum, you may have a meal at this restaurant. All the customers adore the menu that offers wonderful Japanese cuisine at Isehiro. Taste good yakitori chicken, chicken skewers and grilled chicken.

We didn’t eat the cucumber appetisers. We asked to refund it. They staff insisted we pay & its 500¥ pp. when I told them I wanted it removed from my bill, they told me off that it’s a compulsory payment. So dishonest. When we asked for water, the staff said she would get it. We had to ask 4 times before she brought water over. It’s my 8th time to Tokyo & this is the worst service I had. WORST DINNER EVER. Meal type: Dinner Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

The chicken skewer bowl (Yakitori-don) for lunch was absolutely delicious! It was so much fun tasting the different textures and flavors of the various chicken parts. This was my second visit, and it’s a perfect spot to stop by when visiting the Imperial Palace. Price per person: ¥3,000–4,000 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I recall it was a much rougher eatery before than it is today. They have renovated the restaurant through and through. Isehiro is a popular #yakitori restaurant that has been around since 1920's near #Kyobashi station business district. It is super hard to find. See that little alley with a gutter in between? That is where I found it lol. That should not even count as a street lol. It does not look like it, but it is actually one of the top rated yakitori place in Tokyo. If you go between 1-1:50pm (yup :50 not sure why lol) the set of 3 yakitori rice bowl is only 1,000 yen. One of my most satisfying $10 lunch in Tokyo! It is so good you can actually smell the place from a block away lol. I just followed the smell to find it. Lol! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
