Come here for some rest after a long walk around Reigate Caves Tunnel Road. Keep calm and taste British and Mediterranean cuisines. Being at this restaurant, eat perfectly cooked scallops, smoked salmon and smoked chicken. Ordering good brownies and tasty pudding is what most clients advise. Disaster of an evening on NYE!! We are very new to the area and wanted somewhere lovely to celebrate our a New Years Eve with our friends. We booked this restaurant months in advance and called up the day before to pre order some of the food. When we arrived we were told half of the things on the menu were unavailable. We were then promised alternative options - we waited for two hours, our starters arrives undercooked, some were burnt and the oysters were served with bbq sauce!! After all of this, we were then told again that our mains were no longer available, even after a two hour wait. The manager and staff blamed the owner of the restaurant for not ordering enough food for NYE as other people were having the same issue. However the restaurant was only half full so not sure how the dishes weren’t available on the menu!? The whole evening was a disaster, and after being messed around for 3 hours in the restaurant on a very special evening we had to leave with no food and our New Years Eve celebrations ruined. This restaurant should not be open until being able to run as per a normal restaurant with proper management - this has been an awful experience. Amazing venue! I cannot praise this place enough for their excellent service and food. We came here for brunch and then bottomless drinks. The drinks selection was fabulous. The food was delicious. The service was impeccable. Thank you so much everyone at island house for making today so special xx

Pre dinner drinks slow, wine had to be chased, ketchup arrived after we had finished eating, ice cream arrived at table in a pool. Serving staff calling across tables. Food - ok but better available. Avoid.

On the plus side enjoyed the cocktails and the restaurant ambience is good.
