we went here on 9 July. we were greeted by a very kind waiter and we chose this restaurant because it had very good google reviews. the inside of the restaurant is mind-blowing! i think its done in some medieval way and its very nice to sit in. the inside is air-conditioned, too so its veryy refreshing after the super hot streets of Rhodes City. we have ordered a bunch of gyros ( chicken and mixed ) , one burger and one time Beef Stifado. for the drinks we had tonic, white dry house wine and some beers. food came quickly and everything together, so we didn't have to wait for someone's food to arrive. the portions are VERY BIG!! i have read in the reviews that someone said that the portions are small... they're super BIG. everything was very tasty, i cant even desctibe how good the Beef Stifado was! Absolutely do reccomend this restaurant for some mind-blowing lunch/dinner experience. Thanks for the kind service and some delicious food ! Rhodes old town is an amazing place to see and this is one of the restaurants we tried. We had mixed gyros, Souvlaki and my boy always has pork chops. Found the gyros a nit too salty but i could live with it. Lots of Greek salad. Loved the band playing inside. Overall, I would be back. Meal type: Dinner Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I’m giving Island Lipsi Restaurant a full 5 stars, and that rating is largely thanks to the absolutely outstanding service. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed. They were warm, attentive, and professional throughout the entire evening. It’s rare to find service that feels both efficient and personal, but they nailed it. That level of hospitality really elevated the entire experience. Now, in terms of the food, I’d say it was good—solid 4-star quality. The ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was appealing, but a few dishes lacked the depth of flavor or creativity I’d expect from a true 5-star culinary experience. It wasn’t bad by any means, just not the kind of food that leaves a lasting impression. That said, everything was cooked properly, and the portions were generous. The ambiance is also worth mentioning—relaxed, tasteful, and perfect for a laid-back dinner or a special night out. Overall, I’m happy to give 5 stars because the service and setting more than made up for where the food fell slightly short.
