After working at the Hamilton Library, I needed lunch! Found myself back in the Manoa area. I would've gone to Andy's but there was a really long line, and then I found myself in the Manoa shopping center and spotted Island Subs & Burgers. There were a number of customers and I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with a side of mac salad. The sandwich was delicious and one of the first I've had with sliced olives. Didn't have my glasses so I didn't see that on the menu, but it was very unique. I didn't particularly care for the mac salad, because it was a little on the sweet side, perhaps salad dressing instead of mayo, not sure. This is a great little spot! I would definitely come back if in the area to try that avocado burger! Mahalo Island Subs & Burgers
