Located on Fukuei, Iso is a unique restaurant offering a traditional Japanese dining experience. While the venue is not comprehensively listed in popular restaurant directories, it maintains a minimal profile on Google, leaving much of its charm to discovery. Its service is primarily dine-in, making it popular for both lunch and dinner, especially for patrons dining alone.
Guests should plan ahead as the establishment operates with a cash-only policy and accepts reservations. Meals are accompanied by offerings such as alcohol and beer, enhancing the atmosphere for those who appreciate a drink with their meal. It is worth noting that the restaurant's small staff means the operation is run by a single owner, which can result in longer service times.
Accessibility may be a consideration for some, as the restaurant lacks wheelchair-friendly features like accessible entrances and parking. In addition, while the menu includes everything from small plates to more filling dishes, reviews are mixed regarding the freshness and presentation of the ingredients. With limited seating and no recent information shared by the proprietors, Iso's customer base seems modest, likely catering to locals familiar with its niche appeal.

I've been to many sushi restaurants and izakayas, but this one was one of the most disappointing. Of course, there were foods that were edible, but I didn't think they were good ingredients. I think it's difficult to stock things up on a daily basis, unlike a store with a high turnover rate, but I think there's something we can do. What's even more disappointing is that the restaurant was run by one person, so everything was left up to the owner and it took a long time to get the food served. The sashimi that came out looked like it was sold in packs at the supermarket, which was very disappointing. Considering the appearance and location of the store, it may be unavoidable because it seems to be a hobby shop, but unfortunately there are no repeat customers. It's a shame that smoking is allowed.

Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
