I'm so happy to be sharing this review since the last few spots I've checked out have been disappointing. My interactions with every staff member here was great- the front hostess and our wait staff were all welcoming and kind. Since it was the 2 of us, we ordered the pulpo, squid ink pasta, and the spicy salami pizza. All were wonderful dishes and you could tell the ingredients were fresh and high quality. The pizza dough was soft and the sauce was simple but flavorful. The squid ink pasta was delicious and I would come back for this dish again! We will definitely be back to try more dishes next time! Had a great experience at Isola Encinitas! Thauani was an amazing server, super friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was absolutely outstanding. Everything we ordered was delicious. Looking forward to coming back soon!
