A girl who works there told us that they have the best coffee in Corfu, that people come from the whole island to drink their coffee. That their boss studied coffee science in italy and he takes it seriously. Therefore, we decided to give it a try, we had a coffee, a matcha smoothie, two toasts and 2 sweets. The coffee was one of the worst i had, no taste, bitter, full of water, the toasts werent something special, the sweets were old and the only taste they had was sugar. 3 months later we decided to give a second chance. We decided to have a breakfast, we had to scan the menu but we asked a proper, normal menu to read. Half of the products in the menu had no price and there was no food. We asked for food and only the ham and cheese pancakes were available. Long story short, the coffee was as disappointing as the first time, the sweets too and the sour pancake very exprensive, of course it was our fault we didn't ask for the price, but 14 euro for 3 pancakes covered with cheese and 2 pieces ham is outrageous. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: €50+

Horrible experience. We ordered 3 lattes and 2 cakes, one cake was totally moldy from the down side. We reported it, the lady checked the whole cake and threw away only one piece with visible black mold, rest was left there to be sold to costumers (even tho the mold spreads through the whole cake and is dangerous). Were given ice cream as a compensation even thought we didnt wanted anything after such an experience. Were asked to pay for the one cake which was surprisingly okay, one cake was 9€. paid 24 in total for nothing. Overpriced place without quality products and service. I recommend to avoid this place at all costs. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Other Price per person: €15–20

I got myself a cappuccino at Istros cafe, and I was not disappointed. The service was superb, with the staff being very professional and welcoming. The coffee was great, with a rich and flavorful taste that hit the spot. The overall atmosphere of the place felt warm and inviting, with great outdoors seating and a relaxing ambiance. Istros cafe is a great spot to enjoy a cup of coffee to catch up with friends, or simply relax. If you're looking for a top-notch cafe experience in Acharavi, Istros cafe is definitely worth a visit. Also there is not a lot of parking near it so if you do find it packed, I would suggest finding somewhere near to park and go by foot!
