After you have seen Franklin on Foot, come to Italy From Scratch. All the guests adore the menu that offers wonderful Italian cuisine at this place. A number of people point out that you can have good pasta here.

No. I knoooooow Nashville has tons of amazing eats and experiences that are rave-review worthy. BUT HAVE YOU BEEN TO CHEF DEREK'S "ITALY FROM SCRATCH" COOKING CLASS / DINNER EXPERIENCE??? Do NOT sleep on this stellar hands-on cooking class *and* sit-down 4-course Italian dinner served by Chef himself with the help of his dad, Anthony. These guys made the night so enjoyable and actually taught us a lot! This is a winning date-night idea - or group fun night out or unique girls' night out - or to seriously learn how to (and actually make in class) some easy, delicious party apps, a scrumptious meat course, a delectable dessert - plus you get to make your own pasta and eat it! Can't say enough about this whole experience. And will definitely be going back soon.

A group of four friends took an amazing cooking class with Chef Derek Chirico of Italy from Scratch located in Thompson's Station. It is a hands-on class and loads of fun! Our menu consisted of five appetizers, a pasta course, a meat course, and a dessert. Derek is right there to show you how to do everything, and he makes it a lot of fun. After cooking, we sat down to a wonderful meal. Everything was delicious, and we couldn't believe we made it ourselves. I highly recommend Italy from Scratch for a great cooking class, a fun experience, and a delicious meal.

Derek from Italy From Scratch was fabulous! Just had a wonderful cooking party last night and it was great. Derek himself was so personable and lovely and the food was amazing. Best pork I've ever had! And now best of all I know how to make pasta myself. Super easy. Would highly recommend.
