Went here for the first time due to the reviews. We had two servers , our first server was Hailey. Absolutely fantastic person and made you feel like you were getting the whole experience. They were attentive, kind and made choosing a meal and drinks fabulous. Our bartender was also fabulous and his knowledge of rums was lovely. Our second server was lack laser and did not live up to the standard Hailey had set. We had to flag down someone for a check due to not being checked on by the server and then waited so long to receive our credit card back that someone else was able to get their check and leave. As for the food. The meatball was lovely and melt in your mouth but both the udon and pork tonkatsu were nothing to write about. The udon also has a spice that throws off the dish and brings out a confusing and somewhat bitter taste to the dish. All in all the overall ambiance was nice and intimate. This restaurant offers a Japanese–Italian fusion concept, which sounded unusual—but we decided to give it a try. The service was quick, though that may have been because the place was empty, which felt a bit odd for a Saturday night. The wine selection wasn’t very impressive. One funny and unexpected moment: my friend ordered a salad and asked to add chicken, but they couldn’t do it because the chicken was “only for main dishes,” which we found amusing and a bit strange. I ordered the truffle pasta, and it was quite good. However, despite that, the overall experience didn’t convince me to come back. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1
