I had a great time at Itsumi, the food was excellent and seafood was fresh. The female sushi chef spoke a bit of English and we had a great chat. The highlight was the meal was the seafood rice bowl but everything else was good too. Excellent value omakase, highly recommend this restaurant. It’s very easy to make reservations online. Overall, not bad with a great selection of fish and friendly chefs. The first sushi could use a bit more uni to create a stronger “wow” opening. The sashimi was super fresh, and I really liked the rice seasoning. However, the final rice bowl felt a bit odd with the whipped egg white. It would’ve been better served with just a yolk instead.
