Pay attention to the restaurant manager for any misunderstandings. Threatening, violent, dangerous and unreasonable person. I tell my story here: I was smoking a cigarette at the side of the room 2 meters from my table (so as not to disturb the people around me) leaving my pouch on the table with my belongings (money, car keys, two telephones, keys of a rented apartment, etc), as a sign of my presence. When I realized that my fanny pack had disappeared from the table, I was very scared because I was left with nothing and only a lighter in my hand (in my swimsuit). Thank goodness the people near my table tell me that the waitresses had taken my belongings and handed them over to the manager. Overjoyed by the news that I hadn't lost everything (it really would have been a nightmare), I approached the manager who, without explanation, started yelling at me in a very rude manner, accusing me and assuming that I wanted to escape from a bill of 35 euros, a negligible bill compared to the my retained values. Trying politely to explain the misunderstanding to the manager of the place, he threatened me with violence, to report me (how counterintuitive!!) and to never set foot in @gallipoli again because otherwise he would have done who knows what to me. Despite everything, I had to stay calm and fight (metaphorically) to get my belongings back so I could finally pay the bill and go. Think about it!!! The manager of the place did not even have the patience to understand the situation for a second and continued to violently threaten me publicly in the square. Even the waitress of the restaurant, clearly scared of her violent and angry owner, didn't even try to understand and defend me, because otherwise she would perhaps have been punished or fired by him. If I could go back, I would have had him call the police because I would have had so many witnesses in my favor, what a shame. I repeat and clarify, the owner wanted to call the police but he didn't want to give me back my pouch with all my belongings, treating me like a rag and making very serious threats of violence!!!! Terrible experience bordering on ridiculous. I felt violated and threatened like never before. Avoid this place and this threatening, unreasonable and violent person at all costs!!! Stuffed with mussels and clams and a nice fried fish all accompanied by the kindness and friendliness of the owner. Everything really good! Advise
