We recently visited Mitto Japanese Restaurant for lunch, and the food was absolutely delicious. The gyoza, chicken skewers, and steak were all outstanding and full of flavour. The only reason we are not giving 5 stars is because the website could provide more information. We went there hoping to order from the lunch set menu, but when we arrived, we were told that the lunch sets are only available on weekdays. It would be helpful if this was clearly stated on the website. It would also be great if the website included menu prices, as there are currently no prices listed, making it difficult to plan ahead. Overall, the food was excellent, and we would happily return. With a little more information provided online, this would easily be a 5-star experience. This was a whole other out of this world experience, from the ambiance to the carefully considered presentation of the dishes. Everything looked too beautiful to eat, and the flavours all paired perfectly. We may have gone a bit over board and ordered a lot of everything! It was worth it! The staff were also so lovely and the service was quite quick! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had a lovely dinner at Izakaya Mitto in The Rocks. The space is beautiful and cosy, set inside a historic building which makes the atmosphere feel really special. The Japanese small plates were well presented and full of flavour, and the seafood tasted very fresh. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the evening. A great new spot for a relaxed dinner with friends. I’ll definitely be back. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $160–180 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
