If you feel hungry after visiting The Museum at FIT, have a meal at this restaurant. According to the clients' reviews, Japanese dishes here are tasty and the menu is well-organized. Trying tasty miso soup, salads and salmon is a pleasant experience here.
At Izumi Sushi, you can order a takeaway. The gracious staff at this place can show how much they value their guests. The terrific service is something these restaurateurs care about. Delicious meals at adequate prices are offered here.

Was staying at the Fairfield Inn, just down the block. Every time I walked past, the place was empty. That has to say something. Anyway, I tried the joint for dinner. The uni (I love uni.... not for everyone though) was totally tasteless. I also ordered a roll.....also tasteless. Stay away. I won't go back.

Average Japanese restaurant managed by Chinese. Sashimi platter was big enough for 2 people. Fish piece were good size, not too thin and fresh. The soba noodle was very disappointed. Not taste at all Noodles were bland, broth was bland. Chicken was bland. Overall a horrible dish. Shrimp tempura was nice though. Light coated and not too oily. I don't think I'll be coming back.

I love(d) this place. My workout was across the street twice a week so twice a week I'd pick up my lunch and take to my office. The hostess, Tiffany, was always on top of every order and even though this is a small space, they had a lot of Seamless orders, phone in orders and then tables to manage and she did it masterfully. The good news is she's out to have a baby. Maybe this was not due to Tiffany but today I ordered my lunch online and when I went to pick it up I realized I had not asked for a tiny pack of ponzu sauce. When she brought it to me she said it would be $1.00!! I said seriously and she was adamant about it. After eating there literally over 100 times in the past couple years I found that to be absurd. Eat at any Japanese restaurant ANYWHERE and no one charges for ponzu. But to top it off I got back to the office and they didn't include any soy sauce. So IZUMI SUSHI, I hope that dollar was worth losing a very loyal customer. That's not the way I would treat a customer on a request that MIGHT cost 20cents. (BTW, this is my first posting ever on YELP so that should tell you how wrong I think this was in principle)
