Carpe diem – Cajun and Creole cuisines wait for you. Clients can order nicely cooked rich gumbo, honey chicken and sandwiches at this restaurant. The truth is that you will really enjoy tasty bread pudding. Most likely, you'll return to J. Gumbo's later to try good bourbon, beer or cider.
You can listen to live music in the evening. The cool staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. From the guests' point of view, prices are fair. The spectacular atmosphere makes a good impression on customers. A number of guests who visited this place rated it 5 on Facebook.

Went back for take out with last Saturday evening (Aug. 7). My friends sat at the "bar" top and were greeted by water on such a hot day. It was perfect! I ordered the voodoo chicken. It was SO good, but believe me the spice is not subtle. It had great spice, the bread on the side was perfectly buttered, AND the portion was huge. I ate it over two days. Again, Chef Daniel and the sous chefs are doing an awesome job serving great food. Maybe next time I'll go before I'm hungry and actually get pictures. Try it and see for yourself!

I was here last Saturday (July 10) for lunch. Wonderful atmosphere, staff were very attentive. From the waitstaff to the Chef (who came out and asked about our meal) everyone was completely delightful. The Cracker Crusted fish sandwich was absolutely wonderful! Food came out in a timely manner and the presentation was spot on! Love this little gem!
