I recently visited OFK at JŌN, and I have to say — the setting is absolutely stunning. The decor is beautifully done, and the entire space feels thoughtfully designed and elevated. It’s an outdoor venue overlooking the sea, which instantly gives it a special atmosphere. The live stage and band were a huge highlight — it’s such a rare experience in Kuwait to have that kind of vibrant entertainment paired with dinner. The ambiance alone makes it feel like an occasion. That said, while the environment truly impressed me, the food unfortunately didn’t live up to the same standard. It was honestly below average and felt overpriced for what was served. Having visited OFK in Al Hamra before, I found the food there to be significantly better in both quality and flavor. One small note — given the location, I was hoping for a slightly better sunset view to complete the experience. Overall, it’s a gorgeous spot with amazing vibes and entertainment, but I do hope the food improves to match the beautiful setting. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

There has been quite a buzz about Jon by many influencers and bloggers. I have been to Brw that serves coffee and desserts. Pretty chill and cozy place. Recently I made it to Republique for their well known Asian dishes with a pretty sea view. The view was amazingly beautiful and the chilly weather has to be the cherry on the cake! While everything was smooth we were a bit disappointed by the quality of the food.. a bit too over priced for the quality of the food. I had a lot of expectations from this restaurant but we were left unsatisfied! The crab roll tempura was very bland, the lamb chops were chewy, the candied walnut shrimps were kinda good but not Upto the mark. We even tried the garlic rice with Thai chicken caramel (probably that was the name) which was fresh and had flavors. The best dish was only the crab CHILLI noodles! The only dish we’d want to have again! Id rate it a 10/10 for the ambience and service but the food was a bit below average.
