We went to their sister restaurant Salt Trader's and loved our experience there. We were very excited to come try Jack Allen's. Everything from the beginning to end was underwhelming. The portions are small, the food is not very flavorful and the wait staff are mostly ungroomed. Loud, underwhelming, unprofessional wait staff and lack of flavor sum this place up.

Man. Never Disappoints! Tonight we got there in time for happy hour which never happens. 1/2 priced appetizers. Yes sir! The bacon wrapped quail and tostadas are delish! Philip took care of us and was fantastic. Best service we've received there. He was kind, patient and totally on top of our needs. It's refreshing to support a more local restaurant. And a really good one at that. Now, if they would just build one in Cedar Park....
