Nice new spot with a lot of potential. The food and location were good, but unfortunately the service left a lasting impression — and not in a positive way. Both waitresses were always around when something was needed and did their job, but they seemed noticeably unenthusiastic and gave the impression that they didn’t really want us there. It may have been because we came with a small child, but of course I can’t know that for sure. What stood out most was the atmosphere. The hostess at the entrance already looked quite unhappy and unwelcoming. Had I not chosen the restaurant in advance, I honestly might not have gone in after that first impression. I’m only writing this because I think it is one of the main factors that could be improved. During our entire stay, we were the only guests in the restaurant while most nearby places were busy and full. A warmer, more welcoming attitude could make a big difference. I genuinely hope this feedback is taken in the constructive spirit in which it is meant. The place has potential, and I’d rather give honest feedback now than see the same issues continue. Not entirely sure where the high rating is coming from Food is relatively fine, nothing special The service even though very nice and kind they are clearly understaffed — they were trying their best and it was appreciated but it was quite slow and we waited for the food quite a while. Then when it came everything showed up at the same time: appetizers and mains which was both overwhelming and not great to actually enjoy the dishes because you had to rush. It’s also apparent the place is shared with a place across the street which also added a bit running going in front of us on top of lack of clarity what’s actually available from the menu. Bonus for live music and great singer Price per person: €30–40 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

We stumbled across Jaco about 3 weeks ago and are going again tonight for our 3rd visit. The food is great and equally important the staff is observant to your every need. Do yourself a favor by letting the restaurant get to know you before the line will be out the door. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
