I ate there twice and would go back. A real surprise for my picky taste buds. This Saturday, November 30, I was able to enjoy Smørbrød and as a bonus the opening of a talented artist Sandra Baud. This restaurant is truly a missing piece for the culinary offering in Lausanne. The very contemporary and yet affordable cuisine in a single menu makes me think of restaurants such as La Mercerie in Marseille or DeKaas in Amsterdam. The organic or natural wine list is also very interesting. The simple and warm setting is perfect. Vegetarian options: A real tailor-made menu for vegetarians. Exceptional! Too bad there is no possibility of giving 6 stars. A dinner menu in 11 courses, so many stages made up of discoveries of flavors, striking combinations and contrasts of textures and temperatures.
