The service was impeccable, and the food was very tasty and at excellent prices. We ate the sirloin of the day accompanied by parmesan risotto, and it was perfect! The restaurant is located near Chapman’s Peak, a surreal setting. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

After a disappointing experience at another nearby restaurant, we decided to check if Jakes on the Common had a table available around seven-thirty on a Friday evening. Surprisingly, they promptly seated us, and from that moment, we were captivated. Our young waitress, Cait, was not only pleasant and accommodating but also attentive, ensuring we never had to wait. Jakes on the Common is truly a gem in the Noordhoek area, and the meal exceeded all expectations. Both my wife and I enjoyed teriyaki-seared salmon as our main course and lamb meatballs to start. I concluded the evening with a Number 7, while Dona opted for Amarula cream. The romantic and beautiful evening atmosphere, coupled with sublime decor and unique mystic tree art, makes this restaurant exceptional.
