Thank you for your honest feedback, and we’re really sorry your special birthday surprise didn’t feel as enjoyable as you’d hoped. Fridays and Saturdays are especially busy and the atmosphere is much livelier, as the bar stays open until 1am. It’s definitely louder in the evenings compared to weekdays and daytime hours. We also prioritise freshness and don’t batch cook, which can sometimes mean slight delays and occasionally selling out of certain items. At the time of your visit, mains came with a choice of chips or rice and peas, so we’re sorry plain rice wasn’t available. We truly appreciate you giving us a try and hope you might consider visiting again at a quieter time — or enjoying our food through delivery instead.
