Really nice small resort. Very well maintained. German owner so up to european standards. Hot shower with good pressure, comfy bed, advertised as +2m bed but its not, it was 2m exact. There is no bumgun and not allowed to flush toiletpaper, so a stinky trashcan which i hated!! Also no trash can in the room. Good fridge, filled with drinks for a reasonable price, and amazing restaurant, plenty of choice and not very expensive. There was German beer!! I REPEAT, i drank weissen stefaner in PH!!! The view is amazing and the owners very friendly. If you want to go diving in Anda, this is a really nice resort as a base, they do not offer scuba. They offer bike rental but very overpriced!!! A 5 minute walk to the couple down the street and you get a amazing new bike for less then half the price per day and a nixe conversation with it! No wifi in the room but outside and on balcony perfect connection. The road to the resort is really bad but i still managed to drive 20km/h on the bike so its very doable!! I would come again, and would have stayed much longer if it wrre possible, without a doubt!!

Visiting from Pangloa, what a fantastic find, this beautifully landscaped property, is cozy & very clean. We enjoyed great conversation with the owners Ma’am Jilo & Sir Ralph while dining that evening at the beautiful bar. All the dishes were spectacular & freshly made. We rented 2 bungalow style units at this beautiful residence, however the beds did need some new pillows for both units, an easy upgrade fix and 4 pillows per king bed. Absolutely Incredible Beachfront Getaway! My stay at J&R Residence Beach Resort was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and attentive service that made me feel immediately welcome. The resort is located in a remote area of Anda, Bohol, which makes it very peaceful and perfect for those who want to truly relax. The road going to the resort is a bit bumpy, but once you arrive, all the travel stress fades away. Since we were riding in their comfortable van, the trip was actually smooth and nothing to worry about at all. In the end, you’ll feel completely relaxed as soon as you reach the resort and see the beautiful surroundings. The private beachfront is stunning—quiet, clean, and perfect for unwinding. The rooms are cozy, well-maintained, and very comfortable, making the stay even more enjoyable. Waking up to the sound of the waves and fresh sea air was truly refreshing. The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They really go the extra mile to make guests feel at home. Overall, J&R Residence Beach Resort is a peaceful and relaxing destination, ideal for anyone looking to escape the city and enjoy nature. The slightly rough road is definitely worth it for the comfort, service, and serenity waiting at the end. Highly recommended! Service: 5
