Java Cafe is a Memphis staple for our family. They have one heck of a Reuben, my favorite Italian around, and the best egg salad I've ever had. Their breakfast is great as well. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section

I came here because I ate here before and the food was amazing. So, I was in the area and decided to get something. I called my order in. Got there and was the second person in line. An older white gentleman came in ( someone they knew). The cashier (white older lady) didn't even looked my way to see what I was in line for. She went directly to him. I said, I'm here to pick up my call in order. She looked at me like I jumped in front of him! His name was John, the customer! I was there first and she didn't even acknowledge it. So, the other lady( black employee) took my order with a smile. As I was leaving, I heard the white older lady say to Mr. John! I apologize for that inconvenience. You were rude and unprofessional with me by not addressing me before him because I was there before Mr. John. Treat all customers the same!!!! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 1
