I was at Java yesterday evening around 7:30pm and immediately I walked in, a waiter came and cleaned the dirty table that had been left by the previous customer, all this time they never thought of cleaning the table. The waiter leaves and I thought he might bring the menu. I waited another 30 minutes before another lady waiter came asking if I had been served, I told her I have been here for more than 30 minutes and no one has come to serve me. She apologized but with an attitude. I ordered my meal and it took another 15 minutes before it was served cold. I just took my meal and after finishing, i had to struggle to look for a waiter to bring me the bill and clear the table, coz they were clearly not interested in serving me. When I finally got the waiter who had served me (20 minutes later) she came with an attitude and I asked for my bill and paid via mpesa. This lady didn’t even say thank you nor clear the table. She just left. I stayed 5 more minutes and decided I had had enough of that place and used their wash room and left. I took an uber home, but while inside the uber, my mpesa kept sending messages that I had entered the wrong pin and that my mpesa would be locked. I received 5 more messages and finally my mpesa was locked. I had not been trying to make any payment all this while. Finally I got home and unlocked my Mpesa. Then I remembered the lady at this restaurant was using a certain machine that could promt you to make payments, and right there I had my answer, she was the one trying to steal from me. Honestly, that was a terrible restaurant and I would never visit it again. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: KES 500–1,000 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
