I had the pleasure of dining at the newly opened Java House in Thika, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! As a longtime Java fan, I was excited to see what this new location has to offer. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. I enjoyed a full breakfast that was simply delightful. The Java fries were perfectly crispy, and my coffee latte was rich and aromatic, setting the tone for a fantastic meal. The toasted bread, baked beans, and sausages complemented each other wonderfully. To top it off, I indulged in the cake of the month—blueberry lemon—which was incredibly delicious, especially with the current buy-one-get-one-free offer! It’s a great way to try something new while satisfying your sweet tooth. It is conveniently situated, making it easy to access and a perfect spot for quick meals and leisurely brunches. The staff were incredibly friendly and polite, providing attentive service that made my experience even more enjoyable. I loved the thoughtful decor, particularly the wall hanging of pineapples representing Thika. It adds a local touch that makes the environment feel special. It’s an ideal place for a date, solo time with a book, or simply chilling while journaling your thoughts. I was also impressed by their merchandise selection. The Java cookies and coffee mugs make for excellent souvenirs or gifts for fellow coffee lovers. And let’s not forget the coffee! Whether it’s house coffee, latte, mocha, or peppermint mocha, it’s absolutely to die for! Rich, flavorful, and perfectly brewed, it is a must-try for any coffee enthusiast. Overall, Java House Thika is a fantastic addition to the area. With delicious food, excellent service, a cozy atmosphere, and great merchandise, I cannot wait to go back!
