so pleased we went here. Great vegan food, something different. we had the sharing platter to start, then I had the noodles with quorn pieces, satay sauce, green beans and a special salad. The portions were quite generous, everything was tasty and well presented. The owners were very helpful . I would definitely recommend it.

So - I’m going to be fair and start by saying the two chicken skewers with peanut sauce were some of the best we ever had. But - service was slooowww and management of food items was obviously lacking. They were out of one item we wanted - things happen - and we asked for two orders of skewers only to be told after the one order was put in front of us that they had run out so we couldn’t get the second set. They also seemed to use the fact that “ we are closing in 30 minutes “ as an excuse for this - even though we had ordered about twenty minutes earlier. Be aware also that the menu pictures are older so not every menu page is accurate. Bottom line, we arrived expecting to order three things that sounded very good - we were able to get one item - and only half of that. Like I said, food we had was good but service was decidedly strange. I’m adding this after seller response and trying to be as fair as possible. Our “ old “ menu is the one listed on Google when you look at menus so take it with a grain of salt. They did tell us about beans but our order was marked 2 next to skewer order. We weren’t told until after the single order of two skewers were put in front of us that there were no more. Again, what we did have was great and we are usually willing to give a place a second chance but won’t be back here. It took at least twenty minutes to get two chicken skewers when there was almost no one there. They were out of basic items and didn’t - and don’t - want to take responsibility for poor management. Sorry, we may just have got them on a bad day but service was not good and the whole experience was weird on so many levels. Good food but way too many other choices in Tomar. Wish them the best and hope it was just an outlier.

Dear Scott, Thank you for the wonderful feedback on our Sate Ayam - definitely one of our most popular and most reviewed dishes! Regarding your concerns - your order, for TWO of you, was 1 Coke zero (supplied), 1 sate ayam (supplied) and 1 sambal beans. As we explained, we had just sold the last order of sambal beans, and since we are now taking a break for a couple of weeks, we were not holding extra stock. Since everything we cook is fresh from scratch, this means: a) sometimes you might have to wait between 10 and 20 minutes for your food to be prepared - a bit longer than maybe the fast food you're used to?; and b) when we sell out of fresh stock - especially at the end of the week, on a Sunday afternoon - this unfortunately means we're unable to offer these dishes. We'd also like to note for the record, that you ordered two food items, and before we started cooking, we advised you that we no longer had beans available. This was most certainly not AFTER you had received your food, as you state. We offered you a number of alternatives, all of which you refused. We also noted that you had a very old menu saved - please note that you're easily able to download our new QR menu off of our Facebook page. We also gave you the new menu to read when you arrived. It's always good to have constructive feedback, but it really should be honest feedback. We're happy to hear that you enjoyed the food we supplied you. Regards, Otto and Janine
