I visited Java Roastery Solihull today (11 June 2026) at around 9am and had such a positive experience that I felt I had to leave a review. The two baristas working at that time were absolutely fantastic. They were efficient, friendly and genuinely made my morning better. One of them made the most delicious matcha I’ve had in a long time. One even went out of their way to bring me an extra straw without me having to ask, which was such a thoughtful touch. Unfortunately I didn’t get their names, but both were from an east asian background I believe, and the gentleman was wearing glasses. I hope the management team can identify them from that description, as I really wanted to make sure they received the recognition they deserve. What particularly stood out to me was that during my visit I witnessed an exceptionally rude customer speaking to both of them in a way that no one should have to tolerate. Despite this, they remained calm, professional and polite throughout. They handled the situation with an incredible amount of grace and continued to provide excellent service. Customer service is easy when everything is going smoothly, but I think a person’s character really shows when they’re dealing with difficult situations. These two represented Java Roastery exceptionally well and went above and beyond throughout my visit. I wanted to leave this review specifically to make sure they are recognised for their efforts. Thank you both for such amazing service. I’ll definitely be returning. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
