Best coffee and beignets in Houston. Bar none! Have been going here for years. Love it and the owners know you by name! They opened another location at HEB. Pretty cool.

not a good business to visit. the owner yells at his employees all day and tries to play it off as a joke to his customers. not a good way to conduct a business.

Best coffee shop on the north side of Houston. This is not your average Starbucks, the owner roasts his own coffee and he knows what he's doing. He hires younger staff but trains them well. Yes he is a bit loud but he is trying to create a fun atmosphere and I think he mostly succeeds. The beignets are amazing - you will think you are in New Orleans. And the crepes are fabulous - all sorts of fillings from sausage and cheese to strawberry to Nutella. The owner is from Pittsburgh, learned how to roast coffee in New Orleans and has run this shop for a number of years. It is very popular with the local folks. I like the traditional cappuccino. We buy coffee here to brew at home as well. Javaman has expanded and now has locations inside of HEB Atascocita and HEB Kingwood.
