Overall this is an okay lunch spot for a quick meal if you have a craving and can’t leave the neighborhood. The lunch sashimi platter came with a standard and expected variation. The flavors were a little muted and the most spongy texture was the tuna, but nothing unordinary from previously frozen and stored fish. My roommate got two vegetarian rolls and a tuna roll from the lunch combo and said they were forgettable but not bad. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Tuna, Tuna Roll Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Dietary restrictions: Staff were very considerate and asked about dietary restrictions and used cleaned tools to prepare my roommate’s food.

: : Javelin exceeded expectations. Went with a group and from start to finish everything was great. The service was attentive and welcoming, and the food was outstanding. The fish was incredibly fresh — you can immediately tell they take quality seriously. Every appetizer we ordered was spot-on, clean flavors, beautifully presented, and as fresh as it gets. The sushi and specialty dishes were top-tier, perfectly balanced, and clearly made with care. Great atmosphere for a group dinner and an overall excellent dining experience.
