After visiting Giant Wheel at Irvine Spectrum Center, you can look over the menu at this bar. Taste Mexican cuisine here. Come here and order perfectly cooked flautas, salsa & chips and chicken enchiladas. The truth is that you will really like good flans, tres leches cakes and flija. Most likely, you'll come back to Javier's Restaurant - Irvine later to try delicious strawberry margarita, tequila or wine. A lot of visitors order great americano, ice tea or lemonade.

Javier's never disappoints, no matter the location. And my understanding is they are redoing the Newport Beach location so I can only imagine it will improve surprisingly. The staff is very pleasant and accommodating, the drinks are well made and the food is always very tasty. One thing that I would consider a negative is that, seemingly in an effort to revamp some awkward and unnecessary service from the '90s, they have bathroom attendance washing and drying your hands and offering cologne for tips. It almost cheapens the experience. Nevertheless I highly recommend the restaurant. We had a party of about 16 for a friends birthday. We were able to get a reservation several days in advance. We did arrive a little bit late to our reservation however, we were seated quickly. We were served water quickly, and drinks were offered when they brought out the water Our party ordered some alcoholic drinks, which are a little overpriced in my opinion Those drinks came out quickly, and we were ordering appetizers, which none of us really ordered so main course was ordered during appetizers that came out a good amount of time as well I don’t feel like we waited too long for our food to come The two of us in our small party of 13 ordered some enchiladas as well as the Caray taquitos Our selections were nice and warm and the two plates I like the taquitos a little better than the enchiladas Nonetheless, we ate pretty much everything on the plate All together two plates we had two beers and one cocktail which came out to about $145 for us with tip included Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Chicken Fajitas
