Normally we go after a walk evenings and grab a cone and the young ladies behind the counter give you a decent size like a normal cone. The other nights experience was rather dismal. The young gentleman behind the counter scooped cones with ice cream that really amounted to slightly larger than a golf ball. For two single sugar cones and a waffle cone with two scoops the total came to around $16. Jax is going to have to step up their game with the new gelato place going in across the street. Don’t get me wrong we will still frequent Jax but if the young fella is scooping we will leave. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

We come for ice cream all the time and always have a great experience. We decided to try breakfast, my daughter ordered the traditional with poached eggs, bacon and toast. It took 40 mins and there were only 2 other tables in there at the time. The toast and bacon came out completely burnt. They did take care of our 2 drinks which was nice but moving forward we will just stick to ice cream! Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

My husband picked up a slice of apple crumble for me from Jax sweet Shoppe. It was perfection. Everything from the buttery crumb topping to the sweet apple filling was amazing. I'm excited to try their other baked goods in the future. Definitely recommend. Service: Take out Meal type: Other Price per person: CA$1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
