My friend recommended coming to this place for dinner and I was kinda hesitant on coming here because I've never had shabu shabu before. I've been to boiling point a bunch of times and absolutely loved it. As soon as you get here the parking is a little tight so beware if you're coming during busy hours like dinner. We came around 6:30 on a Friday night and it was easy to find parking in the back area where the back side of the stores are it's closer to the Jazz cat restaurant. As soon as you enter there's a cute ambience of the roaring 20s with the chandeliers and beads all over the place. It's definitely different from the other Asian restaurants I've been to! The host got us a table as soon as we enter as a party of three. When we sat down the menu selection is pretty intimidating if it's your first time but thankfully my friend had already been there before. I ordered a T-Rex order of the beef (which means you just get more meat than vegetables) with a spicy miso soup base and satay sesame sauce. It comes with a bowl of rice but they do charge extra if you decide that you want vermicelli noodles or brown rice. I also ordered their lavender milk tea with boba! I would say overall the food was very good an I would definitely come back again. The food portions are definitely well enough for one person. I could barely finish the rest of the meat that I had left over. As for the drink, I'm very picky with my lavender milk tea and it was an oookay amount of lavender. It was more of a milk tea. If I were to have a birthday party it would be a really great place to have it at because of all the decorations. (As a tip you do have to arrive with your whole party if you do have a large party)
