Gave this place a few tries but it is now on my do not visit list. The food is decent and will satisfy cajun boil cravings but service is what's preventing me from coming back. My last two visit were the same. Walk in, there's a sign that tells you to wait to be seat, fine. But we stand there for 5 mins without acknowledgment. This was not prime dinner time and there were many open tables. You see the staff walking around and just chitchatting. They also pretend to not see you. So I tried to flag one down but she just puts up her hand and doesn't even allow me to ask a question. Okay, I tried to flag another wait staff down, he does the same thing. Waiters/waitresses here definitely need some customer service courses.

Looking for something different from the average road food we decide to give the Jellyfish Seafood Bar a try by ordering the Cajun Shrimp salad and a Chicken Chop salad. The portions were good size. The service was very attentive and responsive. The ambiance is inviting and comfortable. I'm glad we tried this and will definitely keep this at the top of my list for the next time we pass through Gilroy.
