Both Vancouver Public Library (Central Library Branch) and Jenjudan are recommended for visiting. Chinese and Taiwanese food is nice at this place. Try nicely cooked taro at Jenjudan. A lot of visitors order delicious thai tea, pearl milk tea or milk tea.

A lot of reviewers suppose that the staff is cute here. Service at this place is something one can call good. From the guests' point of view, prices are adequate.

Delicious Milk Tea Lattes with amazing boba (let it sit for a minute to allow it to attain perfect gummy texture, but if you like your boba on the mushy side then consume the boba immediately). Other notes: - cute little shop with a really cool traditional Chinese Herbal wall - only credit or debit accepted, no cash - they sell Lu Rou Fan (Taiwanese pork over rice) in limited quantities a day - when I came at 1:30p on Sat, it was already sold out - they have specials including 15% off drinks if you wear your jersey on Game Day, Lu Rou Fan + drink special, free topping, etc - quick service - conveniently located on Robson next to Original Joes - limited street parking but a parking garage is right around the corner

During the Metro Vancouver Bubble Tea Passport event, we visited the Truedan (aka Jenjudan; 珍煮丹) location in Yaletown on 290 Robson Street, across from the Vancouver Central Library.  Most Truedan locations have participated in the event.  We can get a BOGO deal using the passport between August 31 and October 31, 2023.  It was a significant saving at this inflation.  Besides, we always love Truedan drinks, especially their brown sugar series.  We ordered Capped Brown Sugar Pearl Milk and Brown Sugar Milk with Grass Jelly, as usual.  We can customize the sweetness and ice level.  The texture of those little brown sugar pearls is very unique and chewy.  They strike the perfect balance between chewiness and sweetness.  Very delightful! Sweetness:  5/5 (you can customize the sweetness and ice level in your drink.) Taste:  5/5 Presentation: 2/5 Would I Return: Yes ‍ - loyal customer

Honestly kinda disappointed in this place especially since I love the Truedan in SoCal so much :/ Maybe I shouldn't be comparing but this place fell short of my expectations. First of all, I came here because the other Truedan on Robson St had no more boba but this place did! I ordered their fresh milk green tea with boba. I'm not sure if it was the milk or just the tea flavor, but it didn't taste that great. It had an odd flavor and weird aftertaste. The boba though was super good! Tastes just like the SoCal location, sweet and chewy. This jenjudan is located right outside the beautiful Vancouver public library. Seating is very limited, as they only offer a counter with like 4-5 stools. The space inside was clean and the workers were nice!
