My husband and I have NEVER experienced Jensens Bøfhus SO POOR - and so poor that we will NEVER come again. It had been a long time since we had last been there and now the desire was for a good piece of chicken with a delicious and fresh salad bar and a burger with a good ground beef in it. We order a large coke and a glass of water. Unfortunately, they had run out of ice cubes - I order a Grilled chicken breast - it was a square block - it was dry, tasteless and very bland - the dry and brown raw fried potatoes were cold and filled with lots of green seasoning - Their "new" sauce - Steak sauce, no match for light meat. It was thick and very strong. I could have asked for another one, but thought it should have a chance. The salad bar has always been OK in the past - but it certainly wasn't this time. The iceberg lettuce had brown edges, so it was not from the same day - The peas, then about 1/3 of them were brown and the rest were green - the brown ones were probably a few days old and were mixed with fresh ones - (considered I had to take pictures of them) Maize, it was completely curled up and dry, so they were certainly not fresh either - Carrot strips, they were crunchy dry and definitely not fresh. had a white tinge - Pineapple - I think it was, they were chopped completely into pieces. It was really not a good experience. My husband orders a Manor Burger - It was so boring and tasteless. Sluggish salad and filled with far too much dressing and a slice of tomato, half of which consisted of the stem. The bun was dry and boring. (a flat hamburger from McDonalds for NOK 10 is far more attractive - that's how low the bar is now set in Jensens Bøfhus in his opinion) AND - THE PRICES They have become absolutely insanely high - of course there is inflation - but not so much that it can justify the large price increases at Jensens Bøfhus - and not at all when the food experience and quality are so poor. Manor burger DKK 189 Grilled chicken breast DKK 229 Salad bar DKK 89 large cola DKK 71 glass of water DKK 30 The serving staff were nothing to complain about, they were nice and smiling just as they usually are. That's why they get 5 stars. Today, the price level at Jensens Bøfhus unfortunately no longer matches the dining experience and the quality of their ingredients. Left with a very sad experience, we used to be happy to come to Jensens Bøfhus.
