We’ve been to Jerk Bay twice already, and it has quickly become one of our favorite spots in the neighborhood. The restaurant has a fantastic outdoor area with plenty of seating options, making it a great place to enjoy a sunny afternoon or a warm summer evening. My recommendation is simple: go for a main course and a cocktail. The cocktails (9/10) are sweet, colorful, and strong. The dangerous part is that once the ice starts melting, they become incredibly easy to drink. I’ve tried both the Ocho Rios and the Jamaican Me Crazy so far. I have to admit that after a couple of Ocho Rios cocktails on one visit, I was more than ready for a nap after my meal. Food wise, Jerk Bay is equally impressive. The menu isn’t huge, but honestly, it doesn’t need to be. It’s Jerk Bay. You come here for the jerk. We tried the jerk chicken with mac & cheese. The chicken was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor from the spice blend. The mac & cheese, however, deserves special mention. Oven baked, incredibly creamy, with a perfectly crunchy layer on top. An easy 10/10 and an absolute must order. We also tried the prawns. To be honest, we didn’t have particularly high expectations, but they surprised us. They were fresh, meaty, and came with an incredibly tasty, juicy head full of flavor. We paired them with rice and beans, which were also very good and complemented the dish nicely. One thing we haven’t tried yet are the stews, which are served on weekends from 3 PM onwards. That means our third visit to Jerk Bay is already around the corner. If you’re looking for authentic Caribbean flavors, great cocktails, and a relaxed atmosphere, Jerk Bay is definitely worth a visit. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Arrived in Rotterdam for my birthday and was informed about a HOT WING CHALLENGE!! The Vibes were AMAZING!! And the food was delicious :D Jerkbay sure knows — How to keep the community together. I was sitting at a table while they were having a quiz night, and it was a chilled vibe. Outside, there were games and a smoking area.
