I recently revisited this particular Jersey Mike’s location. I got my standard order (#10 wrap, hold the tuna) made by Luke and Ben. It was good, don’t get me wrong, but something was missing. After spending an hour in the store, I realized it was Kyle that was missing. My favorite employee (Kyle) has recently moved to Brazil and you can tell he is missed at this Jersey Mike’s. The air just felt different when Kyle was working. I would walk in and could tell by the laughter of the customers that Kyle was slicing meat behind the counter. You could also tell how much Kyle’s employees respected him; when Kyle asked a question, they all responded, “Yes Chef!” or “No Chef!” Kyle really did know how to run that place. Unfortunately, there’s a Kyle sized hole at Jersey Mike’s that just can’t be filled. BUT! Kyle’s protégés (Luke and Ben) are doing wonderful things, and I’m sure Kyle would be proud of those boys! Unfortunately they raised their prices by almost a dollar per sub. Very sad. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $10–20

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand that price changes can be disappointing and appreciate your input. Unfortunately the cost of roast beef has gone up significantly from our supplier. That is why you see a more dramatic price increase for that sub. We always strive to hold our prices as long as possible without an increase even when minimum wage increases in NY state. We believe we provide an excellent product and genuine hospitality and will continue to do so.
