This place has something for everyone. The waitress was extremely nice. I ate some awesome carne asada tacos. Even my picky 13 year old was happy with his meal. Everything was delicious. Sorry my pictures don't do this food justice. Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I LOVE THIS PLACE! It reminds me of an old school "mom and pop" restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is EXTREMELY friendly. The prices are very decent, as well. The food is always really good and the service is speedy. You're not going to find another family friendly eatery as good as Jessie's Diner in North Chicago.
