Besides Museum of Human Disease, visit Jewel of India in the vicinity. The menu of this restaurant is recommended to Indian cuisine lovers. Ordering good naan, beef and lamb is what many clients recommend.

Really lovely place to go for a birthday or a small gathering. It’s got a lovely active and peaceful vibe inside and the prices are good for the food!

I've got food poisoning two times from their curries. Their in University of Sydney is famous for their rotten food.

Jewel of India has some of the best curries in town. They have a good selection of meals with some occasional great weekly specials specially the Goan Fish Curry and Red Kidney Beans. Their vegetarian samosa and chai is to die for. The in house meat samosa is pretty amazing too. I happily eat there every week!!! They even accommodate your dietary requirements if you call them prior to let them know. The staff members working there specially the manager Preeti Chauhan, front of house team member Vandana and Naif give an exceptional customer service. Their chefs Aashish and Deepak would go above and beyond to prepare any specials if you would like. Overall - excellent and a must must try! Their Mushroom Cheese Naan and Aloo Parantha is worth every bite... Don't miss out!!!
