If you are looking for authentic Chinese food (delicious and spicy), then Jia Yan is for you! The portion sizes are generous so keep that in mind when you are ordering. The owner is also aware of the benefits of little extras - the shrimp crackers, candied nuts, and pickled vegetables are a really nice way to be greeted. And the fresh fruit dessert at the end is a nice touch to the end of a great meal. It's open for lunch and dinner, but can be bustling at lunch time. They also do take out too!
