I'll just say at the outset that I had preconceived ideas about this place when my SIL suggested that we all meet up here for lunch. Friends of ours were always reporting that they were at this boozer called Jimmy's getting clobbered. I expected a louch, dark boozy pub and found a bright lively restaurant with terrific food! Huge portions of delicious food for short money? I'm there! I had some of the onion rings which were delicious, and shrimp scampi over rice pilaf rather than linguine. It was excellent! I could not eat it all and still make the drive back to Cape Cod comfortably. My SIL's fish and chips plate was huge and she reported that it was delicious. My BIL had an enormous burger with sweet potato fries. Next time when I'm looking for Fish & Chips in the area, I'll know where to go!

I've been eating at Jimmy's Pub & Restaurant since I was a very young child (30+ years). Today I went back on a whim, and it was just as good, if not better than all of my memories. If you're in Mansfield, stop in to Jimmy's -- you won't be disappointed. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
